Psychologist and psychoanalyst
CRP 05/65489
Psychologist and psychoanalyst with 5 years of clinical experience. Graduated from UVA (Brazil, 2020). I have experience abroad and work experience outside the clinic as well (in Human Resources and Occupational Health). I studied a postgraduate degree at the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, in 2021/22, in Work, Organizational & Forensic Psychology.
I understand mental health as an essential aspect of the quality of life of human beings, who inherently suffer, get sick, have personal difficulties, anguish, discomfort, anxiety, depression - among other names and diagnostic criteria that classify each person's subjective experience. These conditions are treatable and it is up to the individual to be active in their search for a treatment that helps them manage their current situation. I believe in empathy, in welcoming and, above all, in listening and developing each person's individual needs, along with my interventions. My work is not about curing diseases, but about helping people seek solutions and new directions for themselves, (now) made possible through treatment.
I currently only work online. If you want to schedule a session, click on the WhatsApp icon or send me an email.

How Therapy Works
Each patient who comes to me brings with them personal issues, anxieties, and a lack of resources to deal with these conflicts. I am a psychoanalyst with a Lacanian orientation. Psychoanalysis, part of Psychodynamic Psychotherapies and a group called Evidence-Based Therapies, is an approach, an ethic, as well as a theory, and a powerful therapeutic tool with its results already empirically validated by several statistical studies, meta-analyses, and clinical trials. It has advanced considerably since Freud, and has many followers in Brazil, Argentina, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States, who are also spread throughout the world.
Using this approach, I conduct my treatments in individual sessions via Google Meet or, in some cases, WhatsApp. It is possible to notice a deepening of the issues raised after a few sessions, which allows me to go to the key points for the unknown, and therefore unconscious, conflicts of each person.
Treatment is not just about venting or sharing secrets, it also involves taking responsibility and understanding how you contribute to your own suffering. Throughout the sessions, many issues will be repeated and brought up frequently, this is normal and part of the treatment. The ideal is a minimum of 1 session per week. Patience and consistency are required, as the therapeutic process is a long-term construction (years).
